What an update! I'm so glad to hear that Sam is doing well after your little scare.
I'm sorry to hear about Claire. Do you have any idea why she is acting out the way she is? Have you ever thought about sending her to counseling? My nephew was having trouble in school, and his principal recommended seeing one. He met with a therapist for a few months, and he is doing much, much better.
I'm sorry that you and D aren't seeing much of each other, but hopefully that will change once he completes his program. Glad to hear that he's doing so well. I think Christmas together as a family sounds like just what you need!
As for you, I'm so so glad you like your job. I know it's not the field you ultimately want to end up in, but take it day by day and don't give up on your dreams. I know you'll make them a reality one day!
