Guilty Indulges

So this is going to be one of those random writings.... They'll include foods that I can't seem to understand fully why they're so damn good for being so simplistic.
First and foremost, Cheese curls! Oh my God, how I love them. I seriously have no idea how something down the chip isle is so damn scrumptious. I have had a love for them ever since I was young, and to this day, if you have them sitting out at a party, that's where you'll find me! Meanwhile, of course I'm standing there thinking to myself just HOW unhealthy they are for me... but, while I have the opportunity to have them, I'll be damned that I won't part take in that action!
Then the ever so simple chocolate covered.......pretty much anything... but mostly strawberries and pretzels. Last night I went grocery shopping and picked up a cute little duo of treats for D and I as a snack. The duo was chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate dipped raspberry cheesecake... OMG, it was one of the best $5.99 purchases I've ever made! I'm a sucker for some chocolate drenched food items.
Yes, as mentioned previously, the chocolate covered pretzels... Oh man! The only thing about them is they have to be dipped in white chocolate, not milk or dark chocolate. The sweet saltiness combination is just sinful to me. I am in complete love with them, so much that when the after Christmas sales occur, I raid the Target to get to their white chocolate covered pretzels that are usually hidden behind things. I will buy like 5 containers of them, just because they're 50-75% off! Unfortunately though, they don't last in this house... Not for me, they don't. I'll stash at least one container in my truck and then everyday after work, since I didn't have a lunch break, will snack on them all of the way home. LOL
Greek Yogurt with Almonds... Oh man, that's my new crush, I must admit. I had some greek yogurt previously and wasn't too crazed about it, but bought the kind with almonds and honestly, now I can buy regular ol greek yogurt and put chopped up almonds in it and be in heaven... And of all of the treats I've listed, it's the most healthy of all. lol
Nutty buddy's... Oh yea, something I've not had for many moons now but are SO good that once I indulge, I know that that'll be the end of my stable weight, and forget weight loss at that point. LOL. I remember when I was in school and used to take the layers off individually and eat them. Oh gosh, they're so yummy!
Milkshakes... Strawberry milkshakes will always be my favorite but now that we have been exposed to Steak and Shake out here, we've been given such a huge variety of choices instead of the standard Strawberry shake. The reese pieces or reese cup shakes are so good... SO is the gingerbread shake from Red Robin. Oh the greatness that gets sipped through that straw should be illegal.
Icecream... just in general, is so good. I'm one of those weird people tho that puts bananas on the icecream to make it seem healthy, knowing that once it hits my bottomless pit it's only going to add onto my ass, but I don't even care because the right kind of icecream is allowed to show up on my hips! I love waffle cone, moosetracks, and strawberry cheesecake the best! I could sit down with some sherbet too though. I love me some orange sherbet with peanut butter (from friendly's) and lots of unhealthy chocolate, caramel, nuts, and of course the whip cream and cherry that makes it look complete. I think the orange sherbet concoction was something that was even before pregnancy and just kept on going from as early as I can remember.
Taco Bell's crunchwrap! Man, life as I knew it changed once this invention came out! It goes nicely accompanied by a Mountain Dew Baja Blast, too! I could eat that meal 3 times a day and not feel guilty at all! That is, until I step on the scale, of course.
Okay, enough about food, it's making me want to run to the damn local store and get a bunch of crap food while I have a LOT of good food in my house as I type this.
